In one of my previous blogs, i told you that IDM work by making several connections with the destination from where, the file is being downloaded. Today, i will show you how to increase these number of connections. This trick has increased my downloading speed from 10-20 kb for different types of downloads. So, here we go.
Step 1: Double click IDM icon on system tray.
Step 2: Now click on Downloads -> Options
Step 3: Now go to Connection Tab and in the "
Connection type/speed" select LAN 10Mbs.
Step 4: Now on the same tab, change the "
Default max. conn. Number" to 16.
Now press OK and you'r done :)
