Increasing Internet Download Manager's downloading speed :

In one of my previous blogs, i told you that IDM work by making several connections with the destination from where, the file is being downloaded. Today, i will show you how to increase these number of connections. This trick has increased my downloading speed from 10-20 kb for different types of downloads. So, here we go.

Step 1: Double click IDM icon on system tray.

Step 2: Now click on Downloads -> Options

Step 3: Now go to Connection Tab and in the "Connection type/speed" select LAN 10Mbs.

Step 4: Now on the same tab, change the "Default max. conn. Number" to 16.

Now press OK and you'r done :)

Internet Download Manager

No doubt Internet Download Manager (IDM) is one of the most powerful download accelerator and downloading manager. If you are being 'Rewarded' by a shared bandwidth by your ISP, then this tool is for you. What IDM really do is, instead of making 1 connection to the downloading site, it makes several connections. The Internet Service Provider treats each connection as a separate request from a separate user so allocate it a separate tunnel to the downloading site. This really boosts up your downloading speed. Since, we are living in a state where there is no big software merchandises, so we have to download and then register it illegally.

People face great difficulties in downloading and then cracking Internet Downloading Manager. Today, I am going to introduce you to a setup file that automatically registers IDM once executed and puts a shortcut on your desktop. The thing to be noticed here is; never update IDM  if you want it to keep running as they have some nice strategy to catch the thieves.
